Paddington Station, with an express train connection to Heathrow airport, is only half a mile away, as is the A40(M) motorway. The underground stations of Lancaster Gate, Queensway, Bayswater and Paddington are all within a few minutes' walking distance and provide access to the Central, Circle, Bakerloo, District and Hammersmith & City lines. There are bus stops on the Bayswater Road and at Paddington Station with regular services to the West-End.
Across the road from Corringham are several convenience stores and restaurants. Westbourne Grove and Queensway, with Whiteley's shopping centre, a cinema, Paddington Library and the Porchester Baths and Fitness Centre, are just around the corner. The shopping facilities of Oxford Street, Notting Hill, Kensington and Knightsbridge can be reached by public transport, or by walking a mile through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
